The solution for multi-utility smart metering
The MUC³ DR features DIN rail mounting and has been designed specifically for wired and wireless-based multi-utility readings reading of diverse residential meters. The multi-utility controller collects customer related consumption values from electricity, gas, water and heat meters in the metering point and stores them. The data are then transferred by the MUC³ DR or requested by the AMR or EDM system. A remote connection via GSM/GPRS or an Ethernet® network links the MUC³ DR between the metering point and control system and supports standard AMR processes in Pull and Push operations. The saved data are either read by the control station or transferred automatically to a FTP server via an IP connection, where they remain waiting to be collected. Consequently the appearance of the data communication process is not important, the MUC³ DR can be adapted to meet your requirements.
